What is the Loganville Zoning Ordinance Update project all about?

The City of Loganville, with assistance from consultant Town Planning & Urban Design Collaborative (TPUDC), has kicked off a new project: “Build Better Loganville” The goal of this effort is to update and simplify the existing Zoning Ordinance.

Why are we updating the existing Zoning Ordinance?

The existing Zoning Ordinance has been in place for decades, with occasional minor updates and piecemeal amendments over the years. It’s due for an upgrade!

The Updated Zoning Ordinance will be a well-organized, user-friendly document that is tailored to Loganville’s existing and desired development patterns. An updated Code will help the City achieve its development goals. It will be easy to understand and provide clear guidance for decision-making and approval.

Why should you be involved?

Zoning provides the rules regarding how land can be used within the City. As we look to update the zoning, we want to engage with you in a conversation about the future of Loganville.
