Codeapalooza™
Codeapalooza™ was held February 23-26, 2026! Thank you to all those who participated, both in-person and online.
Codeapalooza™ was an opportunity for you to work directly with friends, family, neighbors, City staff and officials, and a team of talented planners to build a stronger future for the City of Loganville. On the first evening of Codeapalooza™, the team held a presentation and interactive Mapping Workshop starting at 6:30pm at City Hall. Participants were be able to participate in the Mapping Workshop in person at the event, or on this webpage. The interactive mapping tool was live on February 23 and available on this webpage through March 1.
Tuesday, Feb. 24 and Wednesday, Feb. 25 featured Topical Meetings at the Historic Rock Gym, where residents shared their hopes and concerns related to how the zoning may affect housing and neighborhood character; infill and redevelopment; and walkability and streetscapes. Recordings of each meeting are available on this webpage.
During the Codeapalooza™, the Team and participating City Staff worked in a temporary design studio at the Historic Rock Gym. Any citizen, business owner or official who wished to join in and provide comments, suggestions, or simply watch us work, was able to stop by at their own convenience. Our Team members were available to engage with the community, ask questions and accept feedback and ideas.
At 6:30pm on the final evening of Codeapalooza™ at City Hall, the Team presented their findings so far, and began to discuss how community input has begun to shape the updated zoning ordinance. The video recording of this presentation can be found on this page.
